With Love 04:08
Tomorrow is the day it comes And erases everything An evil from above grows close When today’s a memory And I just want to see you I just want to see you one more time All the people wait in line Just to leave this world behind with love All the tears they’ve never cried Come out when they say goodbye with love As the earth and beast collide Slowly they will realize with love One day they will wonder why None of them will ever die with love They told me I must stay at home It’s the only place for me I know you have to go Don’t go Don’t forget me when you leave
2.
Here suddenly it becomes clear The difference is the only fear That leads us to conforming Keeping standards without a warning Blink when they tell you what to think Not everyone was built to sink You’re breaking through the clutter Don’t define yourself in others Follow your heart Don’t miss a beat Or let them tell you what is in fashion Become a spark Burst into flames Beauty is about imperfection End this game Stand apart be on your way Break this frame Never fight to be the same There are too many things that we share Cause lately I’ve become aware Asymmetry is warming Save decision and keep exploring Find any little piece of mind That you might have left behind It’s only now or never Take a stand or sit forever
3.
Walking through a sunken garden Twenty feet below the surface I can feel your presence all around In every fish in every creature close to me And I’ll find you In this underwater world of dreams There is a lock without a key And I know you’re somewhere here or there Under a rock all of the colors you could be And I’ll find you You will never see You were right there next to me All the memories we’ve lost They were taken It’s no mystery without you I’m incomplete But I’ll hold onto what I got I’ll hold on and I will Never give up cause I can be with you It’s just like yesterday it’s never far away far away Cause without you I’m battered and I’m bruised And everything is lame Well do you feel the same feel the same In this oceanic part of me I’m drifting farther from the past And I feel your galaxies of eyes Are watching over both my shoulders all of the time And I’ll find you Paramount and beautiful I’m caught up in the spiderweb of hope And I know you’re waiting for my arrival Cross your fingers close your eyes and know That I’ll find you
4.
Bluebird 03:20
In our world of tree branches And telephone wires You’re the bluest bird I’ve ever seen With my own eyes and to my surprise You flew a little closer Until you landed next to me And I I’ll fly away with you Whirling and weaving To another dimension We’ll be together in bloom Bluebird I’m needing Take my wings you can call them yours I’ll always be your shelter You’re everything that I adore I’ll follow you to wherever you go One day we’ll find a tree Somewhere that we can call a home We will share each and every day I’ll always sing my song for you Just like a serenade Your beauty shines brighter than the sun I’ll always be your answer Cause bluebird you’re my only one So fly, fly away, fly away with me You’re everything I ever wanted Take to the sky from the air you’ll see You’re everything I ever needed Fly, fly away, fly away with me Cause there could never be another Take to the sky from the air you’ll see That we were meant to have eachother

Like War 02:45
Hey girl it doesn’t have to feel this way all the time The colorful shades of blue Listen up now you’re always on my mind Is there anyway I could say all I want is you I don’t understand why sometimes girl Love just feels like war oh yeah Like war oh yeah Hey girl I know you feel me reaching out For a sign that everything’s okay Come on girl you’re what I’m all about And yet every night there’s a fight We begin to fade I don’t understand why sometimes girl Love just feels like war oh yeah Like war oh yeah
6.
We need to stop and take a breath Cause we’re living between the days We need something to compliment Maybe it’s time to make a change Her eyes glued to the window Staring at the world Watching the people as they go From the other side Then a sigh of relief She put two together The girl behind the glass Got no reason to ask She put two together The girl behind the glass Got no reason to ask in the world She watches but doesn’t get involved Cause she’s living between her days She fears that this won’t be resolved That all she sees cannot be saved
7.
There’s nothing I can do That makes me feel the way I feel When I am lying next to you We weren’t given a choice and now we’re always far away It’s too good to be true That in a second both our lives could change Into another point of view So follow me into the stars for a day We’ll transcend love It’s more than a chemical or flames Or four letter word It runs much deeper than it seems I can’t get enough Nothing will ever be the same Forget what you’ve heard It’s more than we ever could explain Nothing ever could compare To this paralyzing feeling Running through me everywhere These otherworldly moments have me locked in your array There’s too much here to say Why can’t we live our lives like animals And know that everything’s okay Deep down inside myself I know this is the only way

Miss You 03:53
I would lose a thousand fights If I could finally just see your face in the light again I would wait a thousand nights If I could eventually realize that waiting is fine I know that sometimes girl we just don’t like the rain We’ll count the stars at night and lose them in the day How do you look at me and know I’m going to say That I miss you We should just turn around We could skip life for a day We could leave here We could make our own way out Cause I finally found someone that can relate Someone that I really care about We could count the stars all night and lose them all And I won’t care cause I love you Oh, I miss you I don’t want to miss you I would walk a thousand miles If it would make the clock tick slower If it could kill the time Undergo a thousand trials And give up everything I had not to say goodbye
9.
Another day another night It all feels the same to you Again and again You’re always saying that tomorrow’s bright But it’s just a cloudy haze that keeps you in bed Sometimes you wish that you could give it up But it’s always there somewhere in the back of your head You think you’ve missed the chance you’re working for But there is a faith inside that it could happen Waiting and waiting for someone to make Something more of you Running and Running you’re farther in place And you’re black and blue Another word another rhyme It seems natural to you a moth to the flame You wonder if there’ll ever be a time For you to rise above and show them your name But do they even listen anymore They’ll leave you behind Ignored and knee deep in pain Somehow you find a way to make it right And all of the above collapse Only you remain It’s the only reason and you’re so sure They can’t stop the one thing you were meant for

Broken Phone 03:36
Somewhere beyond the waves There’s a picture it’s too big for its frame Without thinking the artist cuts the edges And throws them away Something’s different today Everything doesn’t seem so much the same Everyone cries a flood From way up here You see the panoramic paradigm Rain or tears It’s clear that something’s coming in your mind Call this broken phone will ring and ring Until the sound dissolves From the clouds he can observe a fate From which we all revolve A visionary from the highest heights You ever could recall Leave this broken phone to be Just walk away forget it all Everyone waits in line For a chance to decipher their demise The artist on his knees as he begs for mercy With tears in his eyes Please I don’t know what I have seen A man told me he saw this in his dreams But we can’t reach him now What could this mean the people cried A picture of that exact moment in time With everyone around a portrait weeping And no reason why Is this some kind of joke one of them screamed The artist finally recalled what he had seen It said remember me

Open Book 04:39
It’s been like this since I can remember I’ve never known any other way Beyond all the splendor my feelings are tender More vulnerable with each passing day This life is a choice I’ve made I’m riding shotgun in this car and I don’t have control Nothing here can light the flame To the candle I call my heart cause the wick is my soul The world is surreal with lucid mystique I’m just an open book living in the words I bleed My scars are revealed in pages of me I’ve put my life on paper for all the world to see Some days are harder than others But in the end I know I’ll find an island for me In all of it’s wonder I lie awake under the moon With dreams of where I want to be The ink will become my mind It’s just a vehicle for escape I’m just along for the ride My feelings become these lines I’ll never find a place I’m alone out in the open alive

about

"Just Like Yesterday" started as a solo project for Michael S. Terpak while in the Richmond based band Anti-Matter Machine. As things fell apart with his band, he made what would become Radioviolet his top priority. The album features a selected group of songs he had written over the span of about 6 years. After the album was released, Michael went out using the album as his musical resume to rebuild Radioviolet into the band it is today.
